Saleen, a leading manufacturer of a broad line of performance parts and accessories for the Ford Mustang, has teamed up with Texas Hot Rods to create an all-Saleen aftermarket parts enhanced 2006 Mustang. The vehicle, a stock Screaming Yellow 2006 Mustang, will be transformed using a complete line of Saleen aftermarket parts to showcase Saleen’s product line for the Ford Mustang.

Some of the upgrades the 2006 Mustang project car will receive are:

Body kit and wing
Supercharger
Supercharger hood
Suspension
Exhaust
Graphics- all badges on vehicle
Saleen seats
Chrome Wheels
New Tires
Brakes
HID Light Package.

To showcase the performance improvement in the 2006 Mustang due to a Saleen parts upgrade, the car will be dynoed before and after the transformation. Once complete, the Texas Hot Rods-Saleen 2006 Mustang will be featured in advertising for both companies, along with making appearances at various events across the US, such as Fun Ford Weekend and NMRA shows.

The project is scheduled to begin March 10th and to be completed by March 20th. All modifications will be made by Saleen personnel at the Saleen plant in California.
